ETF perps: rates, energy and uranium in one perp ticket

ETFs are how traditional markets package a theme, and ETF perps make those themes tradable from a crypto wallet. The catalog is small but pointed. As of August 2026 it lists eight funds, including the two most-watched bond proxies and the uranium trade.

What is listed

Each fund is a macro lever rather than a stock pick.

  • Rates and credit: TLT (20+ year Treasuries), HYG (high-yield credit)
  • Energy: XLE (energy sector), UNG (natural gas), URA (uranium miners)
  • Thematic: REMX (rare earths), DRAM (semiconductor memory), KR2550 (Korea small caps)

Why ETF perps are interesting

A TLT perp is the closest thing on-chain to a position on US rates: long TLT is a bet yields fall, short is a bet they rise. HYG prices credit stress. URA and XLE turn energy narratives into a single levered instrument. None of these exposures exist natively in crypto.

ETF hours

ETFs trade US equity hours, the same session as the stock perps. Unlike crypto, these markets keep exchange hours. The app shows a closed state outside them and blocks new orders until the market reopens, so a ticket never dies on-chain against a closed book.

From the same wallet as everything else

Orders route to Ostium on Arbitrum with USDC margin from your self-custodial wallet. Filter the markets list to ETFs and the ticket, leverage and PnL behave like every other perp in the app.

Questions

Do I earn the ETF dividend or bond coupon?
No. A perp tracks the fund price only; distributions belong to holders of the actual fund. Funding between longs and shorts is the carry you pay or receive instead.
When are ETF perps tradable?
During US market hours on weekdays, matching the exchange session of the underlying funds. Outside the session the market shows as closed and new orders are blocked.
Why would a crypto trader want a TLT perp?
Because rates drive everything, crypto included. A TLT position is a direct way to trade the rate view that already sits inside every BTC thesis, without opening a brokerage account.
How current is this list?
The eight funds named were read from the venue API in August 2026. Listings change as the venue adds or retires pairs; the in-app markets list is the live source of truth.
